Meeting

Climate change is increasingly eroding livelihoods and creating insecurity. Temporary labour migration programs have been suggested as part of a just transition and as a climate adaptation response – for migrant workers, households, communities & countries of origin – and a source of needed labor in CODs. Panellists from three climate-vulnerable COOs in Africa, S Asia and Latin America will share experiences faced by those aiming to use migration as an adaptation tool, from a rights/justice perspective.
