Information note

The 5th Employment Policy Research Symposium, organized by the ILO in partnership with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, will provide a platform for economists, specialists, policymakers, and social partners to discuss how integrated employment policy development can promote inclusive transitions, advance social justice and a better future of work.

The Welcome and Opening Session aims to set the scene for the two-day Symposium with discussions and presentations on research and innovations to feed employment policy development that can promote&nbsp;inclusive transitions, advance social justice and a better future of work. It will also lay the foundation for subsequent parallel sessions and panel discussions on a wide range of issues in the world of work.
