The thematic dialogue on Fostering social dialogue for shared prosperity explores collective approaches to addressing societal challenges, emphasizing the crucial role of social dialogue in achieving social justice, including by promoting collective bargaining. It examines how collaborative efforts among partners can lead to inclusive prosperity, ensure equitable access to opportunities, and drive sustainable development. The thematic dialogue fosters new or expanded initiatives that will result in the strengthening of social dialogue institutions and will equip employers’ and workers’ organizations to address new challenges and opportunities through partnerships and collaborations across the United Nations system and beyond.
