NDCs 3.0: labour market policies, skills development and employer priorities

NDCs represent each country's plan for climate action. These plans are critical components of national climate frameworks, with the next round of NDCs due in 2025. 
Incorporating just transition elements based on national contexts and priorities that are coherent and include an enabling environment for enterprises, skills development, as well as industrial policies in countries’ NDCs is a must and therefore a key step to support equitable emission reduction strategies and adaptation measures.
